The Local Heroes campaign is aiming to inspire thousands of people to support hundreds of community growing groups. But we can't do any of this without your support. Here's some Simple Steps to show how your group or project can get involved:

Nominate an existing 'Local Hero' - and claim your reward!

There are loads of local heroes already supporting community growing groups right across the UK. We want to hear about these heroes and use their stories to inspire other people. If you tell us about one of your Local Heroes (or a group of people) and share information about the campaign online, we will give you a reward - Thompson and Morgan seeds and a gift voucher worth £40 in total! Just contact us via localheroes@farmgarden.org.uk  and tell us your name, the name of your group which the hero supports and some brief background on why that person is a local hero. Some images would be great too. You can view the latest Local Heroes case studies via our Facebook page. There's only a few weeks to go - so get your nominations in NOW!

Learn more about the campaign via our Local Heroes Campaign Booklet then help us with publicity by:

Sharing a Local Heroes Leaflet - Promote the campaign by sharing the Local Heroes Leaflet (either online, by email or by printing out).
Displaying our Local Heroes poster - Print out the poster to display, share online or attach to an email
Emailing your supporters and networks - Download a file containing template text you can use in e-newsletter and bulletins to promote the campaign.
