Who owns the land in Scotland
This resource provides information and guidance on how to find out who owns land in Scotland using the national land title registers, the Land Register of Scotland and the Register of Sasines (pronounced “say-zeens”). For nearly 400 years, it has been impossible to become the owner of land and buildings in Scotland without registering a title in one or other of these registers. Accordingly they are a highly comprehensive source of information about land ownership.
